Carrot, Beetroot Halwa with Sesame Seeds

Carrot_Beetroot_Halwa

Ingredients

Carrot  ½ cup (Peeled & Grated)
 Beetroot  ½ cup (Peeled & Grated)
 Sesame Seeds  1 (Table Spoon)
 Sugar  1 cup
 Sesame Oil  1 (Table Spoon)
 Almond  For garnishing
 Cashew Nuts  Fry in sesame oil
 Milk  ½ cup
 Cardamom Powder  ½ Tea spoon

Process:

  1. Take a bowl and mix grated carrots and beetroot.
  2. Take a pan and dry fry sesame seeds and put a side, now fry Cashew Nuts until it changes color.
  3. Take pan with sesame oil (2 table spoons) and fry grated carrot and beetroot for 7-8 minutes on low flame.
  4. Add sugar and combine until it gets juicy.
  5. Add milk to it and let it cook for 4-5 min.
  6. Add cardamom powder, sesame seeds and mix it once.
  7. Serve by garnishing with Cashew Nuts and Almond.

Badam Kheer

BadamMilk

Ingredients:

Milk 1(Liter)
Water ¼ Cup
Sugar ½ Cup
Cardamoms 3-4(crushed)
Almonds 25
Saffron 10-15(soaked in warm milk)

Process:

1. First soak almonds in hot water and peel skin off, now grind them into past with water.
2. Now take a pan and boil milk and add the almond paste, sugar and stir it on low flam until it reduces to ¾ in quantity.
3. Now add cardamom powder and stir it for a while.
4. Now turn off fire.
5. Stir the soaked saffron strands in some warm milk and add it to kheer.
6. Now you can garnish with almonds.

Carrot Halwa (Gajar Halwa)

Carrot Halwa

Ingredients:

 Grated Carrot  4 (Medium Sized)
 Sugar  1 (Small Glass)
 Ghee  3 (Table Spoons)
 Milk  Milk (1 Small Glass),
 Dry Fruits  (Finely Sliced Almond, Fried Cashew Nuts & Raisins)
 Cardamom Powder  (Half Tea Spoon)

Carrot Halwa  

Process:
1. Heat kadhai with milk for 4-5 minutes by stirring.
2. Add sugar and Cardamom Powder and let it boil for 2 -3 minutes. After boiling just keep the liquid a side.
3. Take another kadhai and put ghee in it and fry dry fruits. After frying dry fruits add and fry grated carrot for 6-7 minutes.
4. Decorate with finely sliced almonds and cashew nuts.
5. Now it is ready to serve.

Gulab Jamun

Gulabjamun

Ingredients:

Milk 1 (Liter)
Lemon Half (Peal)
Sugar 2 cup
Hariali Mava 150 g (It made by reducing low fat)
Cardamom ½ Table spoon
Cooking Soda  Pinch
Plain Flour 1 Cup
Almonds 5-6(Finely chopped)
Oil For deep fry
Water 2 cup

Preparation:

1. Take a pan and heat the milk until it boils. Now add lemon in it then it will separate into the cheese and whey.
2. Now drain the whey out and take the cheese in a bowl and mix the harliali mava, cardamom, cooking salt and plain flour.
3. Take another pan and heat the 2 cups water by adding the sugar in it. It has to be cook for 5- 10 minutes then turn off and keep it a side.
4. Mix all these like a chapatti mixture, if we want we can use a little bit of milk for mixing.

5. By preparing that we have to prepare role bolls in a good round shape.

6. Now we have to heat the oil and put the rolled bolls in the oil and fry the bolls until it turns in to brown color.
7. Take the fried roll bolls and dip in the sugar mixture and let them absorb for few minutes (10-15), then we can take them in a bowel and garnish with finely chopped almonds.
